BC & Rockin Rich, in conjunction with the Tucson Musician Club presents:

Sound & Stage Management Workshop
Tuesday, November 1oth, 2009
6:00 - 7:30 pm
Backstage Room of O’Malleys on 4th Ave.
This will be a FREE Workshop

Are you a musician or someone who enjoys live music? Have you ever wanted to be more involved with helping bands and performers get their gig on? Are you a musician who would like to know the best ways to setup, level-check & break down at various venues & events? Now’s your chance…….

BC Priest (TMC member, veteran performer & leader of the RAiLBiRDz) & Rich Kentla (TMC member, veteran performer, soundman & leader of SLINGSHOT) will hold a 1-hour workshop to share their knowledge about the ins & outs of Stage & Sound practices.

During the workshop, you’ll learn:

• General overviews of a proper sound mix (p.a. & monitor)
• Best performer setups for an ideal stage arrangement
• The advantages & logistics of backline gear (including setup diagrams)
• Assisting the soundperson from the mixer board to the stage
• Assisting the performers with transition to & from the stage
• And more….

This is open to all Tucson Musician Club members and non-members alike.
